It is amazing how God loves us Oroquietanian's so much to provide us with everything we would ever need water when we are thirsty food when we are hungry and everything else in between.Including this beautiful and wonderful place to live in. A place of abundance and splendor, Oroquieta City.
Rizal Monument |
Oroquieta City Plaza is like an oasis for relaxation and fun in the midst of Oroquieta infront of Holy Rosary Church ,this is also where the Municipal Band Stand or Kiosk is located and the monument of the late Dr. Jose Rizal. It has historical markers, playground for kids, and etc.
It is a unique park by the sea, its beautiful landscape is ideal for early
morning jogs and afternoon strolls. It provides a beautiful view of the Iligan Bay
seascape.

Iligan Bay Seascape |
The second place we visit is the Iligan Bay Seascape. You can feel the cold and the breezy air there. This seaside provides a refreshing air for picnic lovers as they enjoy swimming in the cool waters of Iligan Bay. We truly admire the crystal blue waters of the sea.It can leave the stress of everyday life behind us.
Rhovics Place Hotel and Restaurant |
The third place we visit is Rhovic's Place Hotel and Restaurant is no wonder one of the most visited hotel in the city. The hotel was glamorous and luxury. We were so glad when one of the staff met us. But actually we are not checking-in in the hotel nor eat at the restaurant, our purpose their was to take pictures.Even though the place was a bit pricey, we are very glad to say that we were very satisfied with our visit. Nothing but the best remarks for Rhovic's Place .
Ciriaco Pastrano Hanging Footbridge |
The fourth place we visit is the Ciriaco Pastrano Hanging Bridge.
Crossing this hanging footbridge provides a scenic view of the Layawan River below. Some of our groupmates are afraid to cross to the bridge, afraid that they might fall into the river.
We rode into a tricycle bound to Capitol to visit our last and fifth place to explore for our travel blog and it is the Misamis Occidental Provincial Capitol Building at Lower Lamac. We begged the driver and asked him that we will only pay 5 pesos for our payment : Hanging Bridge - Capitol. He refused at first but we begged again and again until he agreed at last! At least we saved 2 Pesos today!!!

Capitol Building |
At last we arrived at Lower Lamac. This is the Misamis Occidental Provincial Capitol Building. It was adjudge one of the most
beautiful capitol buildings in the Philippines. The
building was surrounded by tall trees and green grasses. Although the weather is not good we continued to take pictures on the sceneries.
Thank you for having time reading our blog :)
